Thank you for your participation at the Nordic Project Zone 2017. Your highly inspiring talk on the role of agile leaders helped make the conference a success.
We had lost momentum, but with a gentle push and a sensible framework, you got our Scrum back on track
You made the complex less complex and the dry less dry. You are the first to make me understand exactly how Kanban’s techniques and principles are linked
Annette meets you where you are and, from that starting point, tries to help your organisation or your team become more agile.
She demonstrates great knowledge of the actual challenges that can be encountered in projects and programmes, and she is clearly not just an agile “weekend warrior”, but someone who has tried the methods in reality.
She approaches the task with pragmatism and realism, and is always helpful and friendly (although also quite clear and firm).
It is quite amazing what you have achieved with us. And in such a short time! Kanban is up and running in 21 teams after just four months
You have made it clear to us how we as managers also need to change when we lead our agile teams
Although we got Scrum going, we lacked direction and control. You helped us get that in a simple and efficient manner. Now we know exactly where we are and where we are going
I thought it was a fantastic weekend. Annette Vendelbo is really good at communicating the content in an easily understandable way. It was easy to relate to, although I’m not an IT guy, but rather production-oriented.
Thanks for a great course. This has really got me thinking about my own department.
When I think about Kanban, the recurring theme is “make the invisible visible” — which will help my department focus on multi-tasking and our workload. I’m really excited to get started, and the cool thing is that the process has been accepted by my department, because we are going to establish the process together, and it has not been presented as a pre-defined framework just imposed on us. Having influence always makes employees feel more comfortable.
Inspiring talk with excellent content and examples. I loved this presentation.
Annette teaches with great credibility by virtue of the experience she brings to the table from various programmes and projects. Furthermore, she manages to convey the thinking behind Scrum in a way that you can understand. She is good at linking theory to practical examples, so you actually get tools you can go back and use. Annette is good at listening to “everyday situations” and drawing parallels to how you can optimally solve various challenges with the agile toolkit.
You leave a course that Annette has taught with a truly deeper insight into the building blocks and tools Scrum and agile offer, and into how each element is best brought into play, depending on your context.
I have participated a few times myself, and I would say without a doubt that assembling all program participants for planning at the beginning of each sprint creates not only a high level of shared knowledge, but also a high degree of team spirit and enthusiasm across the programme.
